Modules

Sitefinity offers a wide range of ready to use modules like Generic Content, News, Blogs, Lists, Polls, Forums, Images and Documents, Events, and Newsletter.
In addition to that Sitefinity can be easily extended through new modules. The product comes with starter kit samples for development of Intra-Site and pluggable modules. The kit includes a Visual Studio template that will get you up to speed with creating your own Sitefinity pluggable module. The template will create the project for you and all rudimentary classes that every module needs.

-
Lists

This module provides a simple and efficient way of organizing FAQs, contacts, dictionaries, practically any collection of items that you want to display in a list format. It allows you to create logically related list items, each with a headline and content, and eliminates the need to format them while writing.
-
Polls

With Sitefinity Polls module, content authors can quickly create Polls for their sites through an intuitive user interface. It literally takes a few minutes to create a new Poll and publish it on the website.
-
Forum

Sitefinity features a pluggable forum module. It offers easy manipulation of multiple forums on your website from a single management interface. Forum administrators can create forums, start new threads, edit and delete individual messages and assign permissions to different users through Sitefinity’s admin area.

Images And Documents

The Images and Documents module serves as a central repository for all type of files. Content authors can conveniently search for resources and reuse different elements throughout the site.
