Earlier today, the Sitefinity team announced the availability of Sitefinity 4.2 SP1.  Here is a snapshot from Twitter announcing the latest release.

What’s New

Although this is a Service Pack (and thus primarily focused on polish and fixes), a handful of nice new features were introduced.

Import an existing project with the Project Manager and utilize new Project Actions

New Import and Actions in Sitefinity's Project Manager

Publish content in the past – (See Slavo’s incredible post on this subject).  This is useful for importing old content into Sitefinity.

Publish Sitefinity in the past via our patented time travel technology.

Migration Module enhancements - The Migration Module now supports Sitefinity 3.7 Community and Standard edition projects, both .NET35 and .NET40

Lots of fixes and polish

As mentioned, the primary focus of this Services Pack includes fixes and polish.  On that front, the Sitefinity team has made a lot of progress.  Here is a Tweet from Hristo Borisov that summarizes this effort:
