    Hi,

I am liking the RC so far.  I have only come across a couple of problems so far.  The first was when upgrading websites that were created from the very first beta and have been upgraded all the way through to the RC, the permissions get lost, to solve this I simple switched to using the built-in telerik membership, profile and roles providers and then copied the admin user and roles from another site.  Not really a big issue but I thought you might want to know in case there is a problem with people wanting to use the Microsoft Providers instead.

The second problem is extremely bizarre.... again the same website that has been upgraded all the way through, all of the pages published just fine the first time then I realised I made a mistake and then went back and made some changes to one of the pages and when I clicked publish and I got this error:

    Update conflict

Description: An unhandled exception occurred during the execution of the current web request. Please review the stack trace for more information about the error and where it originated in the code.

The weird thing about this is now whenever I try publish any page I get these 2 errors but they were all published fine before.

    Please help.

    Thanks

    Hi Sean,

Thank you for pointing out these issues. We were unable to reproduce the second one though. You can try to reset all workflows for the application by deleting all records in sf_WorkflowInstance and sf_Activity tables. I hope this will not cause big inconvenience for you.

Let us know if the problem persists.

    Best wishes,
    Bob

    Hi Bob,

Thanks for that, clearing the workflow worked a treat.  If I see it happen again I will let you know.

    Best Wishes
