    I would like to use the CSS Styles dropdown within the RadEditor to force users to use styles that I have set, however, at the moment the dropdown is pre-populated with all the styles from Sitefinity itself. Can I specify an alternative css file to pre-populate the dropdown.

    Hello Len,

    Thanks to the CssFiles property, you can specify as a string array the list of CSS files which you need the editor to use in Editor Options: Behavior.
    e.g.
    CssFiles="~/Editor/Examples/ExternalCssFiles/styles1.css,~/Editor/Examples/ExternalCssFiles/styles2.css"

    Alternatively, you can do the following:

    1. In the ~/RadControls/Editor/ConfigFile.xml file, set the CssFiles property like this:

       <property name="CssFiles">
       <item>~/YourCssFile</item>

    2. Then, in Editor Options: Behavior, set the ConfigFile property to ~/RadControls/Editor/ConfigFile.xml.

    Please let us know if you have any other inquiries.

    Regards,

    Hi Eric,

    The Generic Content Control uses the r.a.d.editor for editing content and we have not implemented the apply CSS class functionality yet. You can use the r.a.d.editor for this purpose but you need to add it to the controls toolbox first. Here is how to do it:

    Open the Web.config file and add the following in the <toolboxControls> section:
    <telerik>
     <cms...>
      <toolboxControls>
        <addname="radEditor" section="TelerikControls"type="Namespace.ClassName,
          AssemblyName"overrideToolboxItem="False" />

    Sincerely yours,
    Rebecca

    I notice that the Editor does not pick up the syles from the Theme.

    It would be essential that the editor works with Theme's.

    I would like it to pick up all styles from my Theme. But I would also like to set which styles I want in my drop down.
