    Hello,

I've been watching your development for more than year and now I need a CMS system for a large project urgently. Is the May 15 release date final or should I expect more delays?

Also, could you please tell me if there's any benefit of your system over other similar CMS systems such as Kentico or Magic that would be worth the waiting?

    Thanks.

    James

    Hi James,

Yes, May 15th is the final date. So far everything is looking good and we should be able to meet this date.

Our approach is different. We go beyond content management. Our idea is to create very flexible and easy to extend platform that can be used as a starting point for virtually any web application. When building your application or custom modules, you can take advantage of the built-in features like versioning, workflow, security, multilingual support, navigation, caching, rich user interface and many others.

Sitefinity architecture is entirely based on data provider model. You can easily implement your own data providers to access legacy data or comply with specific scenarios. It also supports multiple data providers within single application. This allows you to share content between sites while having site specific content at the same time that is inaccessible through other sites.

We believe we have some unique features as well like dynamic metadata for content. I hope you will find the waiting is worth it.

    Kind regards,
    Bob

Well, it's not so much different from the other products, but I will give it a try on Tuesday. Thanks!

    Hi Telerik Team,

I'm looking forward to the official 3.0 release, as I'm sure everyone here is.  I have a large scale project starting very soon and want to take advantage of v3.

Can you please confirm when it will be available for download. Will it be available today (May 15th) as expected?

Thanks and keep up the good work!

    Kevin.
