    Hi,

    Are you planning on having a Search and a Sitemap UserControl that we can just drop into any page?  Or do we have to write our own?

    Thanks

    Ben

    They shipped a UserControl sitemap with the RC2 that can be dropped into any page. The demonstration is in the TIU example site. It's a standard asp.net treeview using a sitemapdatasource with Sitefinity data.

    Sincerely,

    Ben

    Hello Ben Alexandra,

    Ben Nye is right there is a sitemap datasource control which only needs to be dropped on a page and any databound control can be databound to it.

    We are also thinking about implementing search and for sure, there will be such functionality although we cannot tell when exactly it will appear. Most probably this will be included in version 3.1.

    Kind regards,

    Yeah, I saw that they just put a treeview the datasource set as the sitemap.  Pretty straightforward!

    I took it a step further by using a RadTreeView and tweaking one of the built-in styles.

    <%@ Control Language="C#" AutoEventWireup="true" CodeFile="Sitemap.ascx.cs" Inherits="UserControls_Sitemap" %>
    <%@ Register Assembly="RadTreeView.Net2" Namespace="Telerik.WebControls" TagPrefix="radT" %>
    <radT:RadTreeView ID="RadTreeView1" runat="server" DataSourceID="SiteMapDataSourceTopLevel"
        Skin="Weleda" LoadingMessage="(please wait ...)">
    </radT:RadTreeView>

    I wrote some simple code to have the first level expanded and it looks great!  Check it out: http://new.weleda.com/sitemap/index.aspx

    Thanks!
