    Hi telerik,

This is a small request that you probably won't have time to include in the final project but... with the Move up and Move down controls for pages would it be possible to add a Move to Top and Move to Bottom button, sometimes if you have a lot of pages and you add a new one that you want at the top or near that top it is a lot of clicks to get it there.  I think it will be future for large sites in the future.

    Thanks
    Sean

    Hello Sean,

Thanks for the feature request. Certainly this is going to our To Do list. As our RadTreeView control support drag and drop between nodes it would be even more usable to implement this functionality for next releases of Sitefinity.

Once again thanks for the feature request and let us know for such big or small issues that make the users life pleasant.

    Greetings,
    Vassil Daskalov

    Hi Vassil,

Thanks, I had forgotten about the new drag drop functionality of the Treeview that sounds even better than what I suggested.

Another feature I was wondering about was to do with Caching.  I love that fact that you can cache pages, it will really help with performance on the server.  However it would be nice in the future to be able to manage those cached pages because there will be times where a mistake is made, and they do happen, and you would want to change the mistake before someone sees it so it would be good to have an admin section to see what pages are cached and to either be able to clear the whole cache or just remove individual pages?  What do you think?

    Thanks
    Sean

    Hi Sean,

Every time when a page is saved the cache is cleared. Also you can create your own cache dependencies through which you can notify the cache manager that certain cache needs to be refreshed. Currently when notified the whole page cache is cleared but in the future we will allow also only certain pages to be cleared.

Unfortunately this subject is not covered in our documentation yet but I will write a KB article as soon as I have chance.

    All the best,
    Bob
