    Hello Vagelis,

We haven't had this problem until now and we cannot reproduce it. Can you please explain how you got this problem and what steps you took before you got it? Also, it would be useful for us if you provide information about the user account you use - does it have the necessary permissions? What about the database user account? Did you get this problem before you upgraded Sitefinity or only after the upgrade?
We need a little more information so that we can help you better.

    All the best,
    Slavo
    the telerik team

    Hello,

I always have this error on the 1st time I try to edit a project. I restart IIS services and then it works with no error. The user has admin rights, I use SQL Express as database. It has full rights on directory Sitrefinity 3.0 websites as also ASP.NET user account.

I had this error also in 1st RC and also after Update. Hope these helps you.

    Regards

    Vagelis

    Hello Vagelis,

What is the configuration of your computer? It seems that it takes longer for SQL Express to attach the database file and meanwhile the connection open command expires. You may need to adjust the timeout for the connection in your connection string.

    Kind regards,
    Bob

    Hello Bob,

I'm testing on a Sony Vaio notebook with 1GB ram. At the time project starts there about 500mb memory available.

I have increased the connection timeout at web.config from 30 to 300 and I'll let you know about the results.

    Best regards

    Vagelis
