I am getting this error when upgrading: System.ArgumentException: Type "Telerik.Sitefinity.Configuration.StorageProviderSettings, Telerik.Sitefinity" cannot be resolved.

Has anyone else seen this error?  Or knows how to resolve it?

Thanks in advance for any help.

    Ryan

    Hi Ryan,

Most probably there is some customization that conflicts with the new storage provider. Could you please send your config files and we will look at them

    Kind regards,

    Hi Ryan,

In your LibrariesConfig.config, remove the p3:this="Telerik.Sitefinity.Configuration.StorageProviderSettings, Telerik.Sitefinity" attribute of the OpenAccessDataProvider element and reset the application.

The reason for this is that the StorageProviderSettings class was removed, as its name would have become misleading in the presence of the new blob storage configuration elements and it also turned out that it is no longer needed (the whole decorator pattern architecture of the data providers was rendered obsolete).

    All the best,
