We have several v5.4 sites and as per the title of this thread, when we try inline editing the error in the console is "Uncaught RangeError: Maximum call stack size exceeded" and nothing can be edited.

This was raised by someone else over 18 months ago, but no one replied with a fix.  That post is here - http://www.sitefinity.com/developer-network/forums/developing-with-sitefinity-/clicking-edit-button-on-front-end-throws-error-uncaught-rangeerror-maximum-call-stack-size-exceeded-

The images attached to that post are exactly what we're getting.  Any ideas what could be causing this?

    Cheers.

    Hello Neil,

I am unable to reproduce the error on my end. Do you by any chance have customized the inline editing on your project? Have you mapped a custom template for the HtmlField for example?

I would suggest opening a support ticket and sending us your project so we can inspect this.
