we have implemented 'forgot password' widget from sitefinity.
I have valid SMTP setting in
Settings -> advanced -> System -> SMTP(email settings)
Below parameters are set under Settings -> Advanced -> Security ->Membership Providers -> Default -> Parameters
enablePasswordRetrieval - true
enablePasswordReset - true
recoveryMailAddress - set (valid email address)
recoveryMailBody - Dear <%\s*UserDisplayName\s*%>, <br />we received a request for password change for username <%\s*UserName\s*%>.<br /> <a href="<%\s*ConfirmationUrl\s*%>" target="_blank">Go to this page</a> to set your new password. The link will be active for one hour.<br /> <br /> Best regards,<br /> The IT team <br />
recoveryMailSubject - 'Password recovery'
on Clicking the 'Forgot Password' and entering the a registered user email id and click on 'Submit', information message appears (Password reset instructions have been sent to your email
), but no mail with instructions or url to reset the password. we are using Sitefinity 8.0. Please help.
