i have created MVC applicationwhich is having Master.cshtlm page and Details.cshtml page on Master.cshtml page there are links to show live Events and on clicking on each Event it will open Details.cshtml page and show Event details.

In this case on clicking on any event it throws and error as "This type of page is not served."

    please find attached screenshot.

You cannot access directly cshtml files. In your screenshoy, you trying to access /Mvc/Views/Event/Details.cshtml

You need to build widget and do your logic inside widget and then return proper view. You can find documentation how to create MVC based widgets here: http://docs.sitefinity.com/for-developers-create-mvc-based-sitefinity-widgets
