    Hi

In the administration panel, on Pages > Site Map, when I click on a navigation node the page does not get changed but remains the same. It reloads, then gets back to the page where I am already. This does not happen on the live site. There are no entries in sitefinity.log.

Thanks in advance for your help!

    Kind regards
    Roman

    Hi Roman,

Have you make any changes to the view state or Sitefinity/Admin.master? I am also not able to replicate this issue locally.

    Best wishes,
    Ivan Dimitrov

    Hello Ivan

Thanks a lot for the quick answer.
The only recent change (I know about) was a move to another server. We didn't have this issue on the old server, but on the new one.
Neither the viewstate nor the Admin.master was changed.

    Kind regards
    Roman

    Hi Roman,

It is possible that there is some caching on the server or some setting that breaks the back end, but  this looks like as an infrastructure issue.

    Kind regards,

... and all Generic Contents lost their values, i.e. they all come with that "object not set to an instance" exception. Maybe I'll try reupload the database.

    Hi Roman,

Could you check whether the application pool runs the same version of .NET as the binaries in your bin folder? It looks like that you might not use the same versions - for example you use dlls compiled against .NET 3.5, but the application pool is set to use .NET 4.0

    All the best,
    Ivan Dimitrov

The project is on hold for about two weeks, but it is likely that this is the reason - the server got upgraded to .NET 4 lately.

I will post here when the project continues.

    Kind regards
    Roman
