    Hi,

It sometimes occurs that when I add a page, let's say a search result page, this page is not available as a search result target page when editing a search control. It shows in the pages overview but not in the page list of the search control. After a while it does show.

Is there a delay of some kind before this page show?

    Thanks, Gawein Heymans

    Hello Gawein Heymans,

    Thank you for contacting us.

We have tried to reproduce this but to no avail. The only reason why the page would not be in the menu, is if the page is not published. You can also refresh the page without loading the cache (ctrl + F5).

Please let us know if the above suggestions help in any way.

    Kind regards,
    Georgi

    Hello Georgi,

It can't be my cache. I have tried ctrl-F5, cache clear and in Firefox width disabled cache. But the problem persists. It sometimes shows the page and sometimes not. Or as I just experienced, it only shows 1 of the 2 newly added pages.

The pages are published but with 'Show in navigation' disabled.

Only after logging out and in again the 2 pages are displayed.

    Thanks, Gawein

    Hello Gawein Heymans,

If you disable Show in Navigation, then those pages will not become part of the SiteMap and navigation controls will not show them.

    All the best,

    Hello Radoslav,

That I understand, but I am talking about the page not showing in the pages list when wanting to select a search result target page when editing a search control.

    Thanks, Gawein

    Hi Gawein Heymans,

This is an issue which we have experienced in Sitefinity 3.7 (build 1990) and is fixed in later versions. Please check your Sitefinity version following steps in this article - How to check your current Sitefinity version? to see if you are using the same version. In order to fix this you should upgrade to a later version. You can aways just type in the url of the page. This will work too.

    Best wishes,
