Currently there is no way to deny anonymous access to a page group. Is that correct? I have a case where this causes logged out user to be able to click on the page group and be taken to a secure page, then showing a 404 because they are not logged in. In the future this will just redirect to a login screen, but for the development stage we are hoping to only display an announcement page only. Is there a work around I'm not seeing for this?

    Sincerely,

    Ben

    Hi Ben,

It seems there is an omission in our user interface or the implementation (we will consider it further), but, for the time being, you can use it as a work around. In order to set 'Deny Anonymous' for a group page, you should go to the page Properties tab, change the Page type to Normal, set Anonymous access to Deny and save the changes; then set the Page Type back to Group and save the changes.

Thank you for pointing this out. Your Telerik points have been updated.

    Sincerely yours,
    Vlad

Please confirm that this issue still exists in 3.2. This is a significant bug in my opinion -- I don't want to have to rely on admins setting permissions correctly for each page in a group.

    Hello Jamie,

We decided not to implement Deny Anonymous option on the Page Group typed Page. The reason for this is that PageGroup is automatically redirecting the request to the first child page. If you create a normal page with Deny Anonymous set to Yes, this option will be inherited by all child pages so the Admins will not need to set Deny Anonymous to each page. We suggest you using this approach.
