        Hi,

      I am using the community summer.

      I successfully added an event, and then it appeared on the Events section of the home page.

      But I add a news item and it wont appear on the home page under "Recent News". Also, I changed the expiration date of the out of the box news items, and, and desired, they where no longer on the "Recent News" section of the homepage, however, when I changed the expiration date back to 2099, they did not reappear on the "Recent News" section ?

       Also, how do I change the title "Recent News"  ?

      thanks for your time.

    Hi,
      I see now how to work with the categories. My news items appear.
      But I cannot see where to change the title "Recent News".

    thanks

    Hello IQworks,

    The title is set in the external template that the control uses. You can see the location of the template by opening the control in edit mode, then go to Advanced tab , expand Appearance section and check the value for ItemListTemplatePath

    For instance the external template for the default HOME page is ~/Sitefinity/ControlTemplates/News/CommunityNewsListHome.ascx and the tile is declared in the HTML directly as shown below

    <h3>Recent News</h3>

    <asp:Repeater ID="repeater" runat="server">

        <HeaderTemplate>

            <ul class="sf_newsList">

        </HeaderTemplate>

        <ItemTemplate>

                 ....

                        .....
