    Hi,

I'm facing a strange problem with the Forums module (and for that matter blogs module too). I'm using Sitefinity 3.7 Standard Edition SP3. The problem is that whenever I make a forum post "invisible" from the administration interface, another copy of the same post is created with the same setting. I have to then manually delete one of them. The steps that I followed are:

    1) On the front-end (user facing website), a user selects a forum, selects a thread. He then posts a reply to that thread.
    2) As the forum has the moderation feature turned on, the post is not directly visible on the site. The admin user then logs on to the administration module and moderates the post and makes it "visible".
    3) The post then appears on the website. Due to some reason the admin user then goes back and makes that post "invisible". And suddenly now the admin user sees two instances of the same post and both of them with the visibility setting as "hidden".

And they ARE two different instances of the same post because I can delete them individually.

Please help. Its a bit urgent.

    Thanks,
    Saumitra

    Hello Saumitra,

Thank you for posting your questions in our forum.

Could you please let us know if you have more than one provider configured for the Forum module? Do you have more than one instance of Sitefinity? Is the project hosted in NLB environment?

    Thank you in advance.

    Kind regards,
    Georgi
