I have 2 master pages.  a main.master and a child.master.  I then added a master file in the APP_Master folder that has a master page of the child.master.  It all works great and I see the layouts and everything until I click on the edit template button and then I get this error message.

Object reference not set to an instance of an object.

    Hello Ted,

Thank you for using our services.

It seems that the error is thrown from RadAjax type control. Could you make sure that you have a RadAjaxManager control on the top level master page? Also it would be nice if you could show us the markup and code of your master pages.
