One of our clients has started receiving this error:

Exception Details: System.UnauthorizedAccessException: Access to the path 'XX\XXX\XXX\XXX\XXX\www.epud.org\wwwroot\catalog.wci' is denied.

I see a directory called catalog.wci, which must have been created by the CMS, but before I went ahead and started adding permissions on it I wanted to know what permissions this should have and if it is in fact part of the files module. Note, we are using the files module with the file system provider rather than the database.

    THanks!

    Hello Andrew,

This is a custom file that you have uploaded to the root of your project - catalog.wci and it is not created by Sitefinity. Depending on the purpose of this file you should grant ASP.NET or NETWORK SERVICE account with read/write and/or delete permissions.

    All the best,

Ah ha! Thanks, apparently it was Index server still running from their old pre-sitefinity site. Thanks for the fast response as always!
