    i recently created a new page and dropped a control on it. my control depends on button submit event which is not working properly. After some research, i noticed that the form tag within my new page is different than my other pages.

    From the new page:
    <form name="aspnetForm" method="post" action="Makepayment.aspx" onsubmit="javascript:return WebForm_OnSubmit();" id="aspnetForm">

    From an old page:
    <form name="aspnetForm" method="post" action="OrderConfirmation.aspx?ID=199096" id="aspnetForm">

    I believe the piece that is interfering with my control is the "onsubmit=...." Where does this come from? How can I get rid of it?
