IIS7 will serve pages from Sitefinity even if you do not include the extension in the URL. For example, example.com/test.aspx is the page i have created. But it will also respond to example.com/test (and also works with a trailing slash).

The problem is I also have a directory of the name 'test', and would rather the default document display instead of example.com/test.aspx. Is there any way to have the default document take precedence?

    Hello Matt,

A possible solution could be creating HttpHandler, overriding ProcessRequest and skip the opening of the directory or loading the page. You can get the current request from HttpContext.
