    Hi,

I am trying to upload an image to my website by clicking on "Insert an image" icon in the Generic Content control. When I press "Upload this image" button, I get this message:

"Access to the path '.....' is denied."

I've set up directory permissions for the "images" folder to Read/Browse/Write/Execute.

    What am I missing?

    Thanks,
    Julia

    Hello Julia Shah,

Could you please check if you are using Sitefinity 3.2? We had this problem there. The message is shown even if the file is uploaded. You might check if you have the file uploaded, after the error message.

This has been fixed in the later releases.

Yes, we are using Sitefinity 3.2. I checked - the file has not been uploaded. I wouldn't want to upgrade to the next version just because of this. Any suggestions on work-around?

    Thanks,

    Julia

    Hello Julia,

    It's very strange.
Could you send us the screen shot of the error?
Also, please make sure that you have given the permissions to the correct user. On computers running Windows Server 2003, by default ASP.NET runs as part of the IIS 6.0 (W3wp.exe) process using the default identity NETWORK SERVICE. If IIS5 isolation mode is configured on a computer running Windows Server 2003, the ASP.NET worker process runs in the ASPNET account.
