    Hi,

    I got a weird problem with expiration date in News module.
    I added a new entry for News and setted expiration date as 01-04-2010 00:00:00
    It's displayed correct when I open the News details, but when it's shown in the first page of News module, the expiration date is shown one hour earlier - 31-03-2010 11:00:00 AM
    Does someone know why?

    Find attached screen shots.

    Thanks.

    Hi Kleber Silva,

    Thank you for using our services.

    Could you try creating a file ~/Sitefinity/Admin/web.config and have its contents like this:
    <?xml version="1.0"?>
    <configuration>
        <appSettings/>
        <connectionStrings/>
        <system.web>
            <globalization uiCulture="en-US" culture="en-US"/>
        </system.web>
    </configuration>

    We are populating the news list through a web service and binding the content items to the grid on the client.

    Thanks for your reply, but It didn't work for me, the News grid still one hour earlier. Is there something else I can do?

    Thanks.

    Hello Kleber Silva,

    Could you try to put the following js on a page

    $(document).ready(function() {
             alert("test");
             var date = new Date("12/31/2099 12:00");
             date._toFormattedString('dd MMM yyyy, hh:mm tt', Sys.CultureInfo.CurrentCulture);
             alert(date);
         });

     with the value you have entered when the news item has been created. This will narrow down the issue and we will see whether it is culture dependent.

    Best wishes,
    Ivan Dimitrov

    Hello Kleber Silva,

    We use the same format in the admin

    - date._toFormattedString('dd MMM yyyy, hh:mm tt', Sys.CultureInfo.CurrentCulture);

    when we populate the RadGrid. If the date is the same as you are describing in your previous posts it should not be altered as the sample shows.

    Sincerely yours,
