    I've tried adding some events to the new sp2 i've just finally got installed, but now when I add a new event, it is not saving the friendly url. the associated content item has this field blank, and instead the eventsView control is rendering the links for more details as a standard url using query strings and the cntItem instead of the friendly url (which doesnt exist as i've mentioned).

    any ideas? i've just guessed as I write this it may have to do with the url rewriting in my web.config. I think I might have changed that while troubleshooting the sp2 upgrade... will check now and report back.

    alright turns out the updated web.config does not include the urlrewrite string. Under the Providers Node I changed:

    <add name="Events"
    visible="False"
    defaultMetaField="Title"
    securityProviderName=""
    allowVersioning="True"
    applicationName="/Events"
    versioningProviderName=""
    commentsModeration="true"
    connectionStringName="GenericContentConnection"
    type="Telerik.Events.Data.DefaultEventsProvider, Telerik.Events.Data"/>

    to:

    <add name="Events"
    urlRewriteFormat="[Title].aspx"
    urlWhitespaceChar="_"
    visible="False"
    defaultMetaField="Title"
    securityProviderName=""
    allowVersioning="True"
    applicationName="/Events"
    versioningProviderName=""
    commentsModeration="true"
    connectionStringName="GenericContentConnection"
    type="Telerik.Events.Data.DefaultEventsProvider, Telerik.Events.Data"/>

    and now it works!

    Hi SelArom,

    Thanks for pointing this out. We must admit it's an omission on our part. We'll update the web.config for the upcoming hotfix.

    Sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused.
    Your Telerik account has been updated for this bug report.
