    Hi

I have a site under development using Sitefinity 3.6 SP1. After upgrading my dev PC to Windows 7 I'm now finding that the NewsArchive control throws an exception (see below). Any ideas?

    Thanks in advance
    Andy

    Hi Andrew,

What DateFormat you use for NewsArchive control? I am working under Windows 7, IIS 7.5, DateFormat = "MMMM yyyy" and the control is rendered correctly. Note that DateTime format could be different at your end and it also depends on the server Language format (Control Panel\Clock, Language, and Region). Please try to modify the DateFormat property. You can gather more information about the DateTimeFormats from MSDN.

    Sincerely yours,
    Ivan Dimitrov

    Hi

My DateFormat hasn't changed, and is still "MMMM yyyy". My regional settings are UK English (again unchanged from when the PC was Vista). I've tried changing DateFormat to various values but still no luck.

It's not a big problem as the news archive control is a "nice to have", but not essential.

    Hello Andrew,

I am sorry, but I cannot reproduce the problem locally on my Windows 7. Its looks like as something related to the windows culture configuration.

    Kind regards,
