    Hi, very strange issue.
I'm using Sitefinity 3.7.2136.2 . The web site is ready to deploy and on my develop ment PC works fine. If I type http://localhost/My_Site/ I am correctly redirected to the designated home page.
When I deploy on the server (IIS 5) if i go to http://www.my_site.it/ I get a 404 page not found. If I type http://www.my_site.it/default.aspx I get the correct home page.
    Now:
    - the default document is correctly configured on IIS (default.aspx)
    - the home page is correctly set into Sitefinity console (HomePage.aspx)
    - the same IIS with EXACTLY the same configuration already hots 2 more Sitefinity Web sites
    - I've already tried deleting a re creating the Web site on IIS.

What else can I try ?

    Thanks

    Hello Lorenzo Raimondi,

Can you please try adding HomePage.aspx as a default document in your IIS website?

    Hi Radoslav  Georgiev,
            unfortunately no luck with that.

I had already tried various like that, including calling the page designated as home page default.aspx, but no result at all.

    Any other ideas ?

    Thanks

    Lorenzo

    Hello Lorenzo Raimondi,

Have you tried using a dummy physical page with the same name in the site root?

    All the best,

Hi, no luck with any try.
I ended up copying another working installation of Sitefinity and replacing styles, modules and DB pointing.

    Now works.

    Strange situation.
    Thanks anyway for help.
