    Hello,

    Has anyone else experienced this message (Object moved to here). We think it started occurring after renaming a Master page or duplicating pages. It occurs after we go into edit mode on certain pages. Every command after that - even clicking cancel - will present this message. The "here" portion of the message is a link back to the edit mode for the page, so it's like an infinite loop.

    We've tried recreating page, relinking pages to master pages, rebuilding and re-uploading our master pages and deleting the ~/Sitefinity/ServiceAssemblies/3889AC4AF542BAC3C62ABB154E78FEA8.dll DLL file... All to no avail.

    At this point we are considering scrapping our entire site and starting over, so if anyone knows anything about this error, even if it's unrelated to this issue, can you please let me know.

    Thanks!

    -Derek

    Hello Derek Hunziker,

    he object moved generally means that there is some http header generated which prevents the Response.Redirect to required url. It could be result of proxy.Object move could be thrown if the host is changed between the requests. So, if context.Request.Url.Host is altered you may get object moved.

    Best wishes,

    Thanks,

    We traced it down to the following code that we were executing on Page_Load within a custom UserControl:

    // Pre-select current page in projects pull-down (if possible)
    RadComboBoxItem currentPage = projectRadComboBox.Items.FindItemByValue(SiteMap.CurrentNode.Url);
    if (currentPage != null)
        projectRadComboBox.SelectedIndex = currentPage.Index;

    Sadly, we weren't able to spot this before re-creating the entire section. But now we know. What's weird is that I don't see any modification to the page header or Url.Host in this code. Do you see anything out of the ordinary? We want to be certain that this was the cause, but for now we are happy to just have a functioning site.
