    I am getting this Error when running Multiple community Site on one SQL 2009 Database.  I followed the instructions in other post to change the "applactionsName=/MySiteName" throughout the webconfig file to the name of your website, but when I try to edit one of the site, I get this error.  I have Deleted the database and retried several time with the same result.

    Object reference not set to an instance of an object.

    Hello shaun,

    There is some issue with the urlRewriteFormat of one of the websites - it has been changed not correctly or there is some issue with the applicationName of the website. You might find this post useful.
