I've got a site running on 3.2 sp2 and it has the following structure

    products
    -product1
    -product2
    -product3

whenever the products page or any of its sub pages are selected, the primary level products link isn't clickable
when you hover over it, you can see the link, but you are not able to click it

if you disable javascript it works!

the primary naviation is a site menu, and the sub nav is a panel bar

any ideas? i dont want to upgrade if i can help it
    thanks

    Hello Quade,

You can check whether there are any js errors thrown, since disabling it removes the problem. We are not able to reproduce this issue locally.

    Hi Ivan

I've tried ie7, ie8 and firefox 3.5 and all 3 have the same issue

i've tried to remove all the CSS in the dev toolbars etc, with no effect

the only thing that makes it work is disabling the javascript
there are no javascript errors on the page.

    Hi Quade,

Try creating a simple master page without any css and js on it, just one ContentPlaceHolder. Then drop the SiteMenu and RadPanelBar controls inside the placeholder and check whether you will be able to click on the links. If you disable the embedded scripts of the controls above you will get js errors. If the problem persists send the controls you use and we will check them locally.

    All the best,
    Ivan Dimitrov

    Thanks Ivan

Did that and got same error, but helped me narrow down the issue

in the end it turned out to be a setting on the tab strip control

    misc/edit/behaviour/click selected tab = true
