    Something went awry with the rad editor in the CMS.

    http://media.mnp.ca/images/radeditor.jpg

    Looking into it, it looks like it can't find the WebBlue css files. How did this get messed up and more importantly..how do I fix it?

    Thanks

    -Matt

    Hi Matt,

    Have you upgraded your project recently or mapped any external template? In almost all external templates RadEditor control uses the built in WebBlue skin. Also make sure that RadEditor's ToolsFile is accessible and it exists in the location declared from RadEditor's ToolsFile property.

    Hi

    This still doesn't work for me. I upgraded to 3.7 SP1 and the toolbar is still missing. The toolbar is there as if I hover over it actually does work, it just seems that it can't find the WebBlue css file it needs to load up the sprites.

    Where does this WebBlue css file load from? It must be from a dll somewhere as in other websites, it loads it as a webresource.

    Thanks

    -Matt

    Hi Matt,

    WebBlue is embedded skin of RadEditor control (http://demos.telerik.com/aspnet-ajax/editor/examples/default/defaultcs.aspx). Since we use embedded templates from Sitefinity 3.7 can you reproduce the problem in any backend view that has not been mapped?

    We look forward to hearing from you.

    Sincerely yours,
    Ivan Dimitrov

    Where the icons are not showing up is on the Blogs Module Editor. I do not have any external template mappings in my setup.

    All the other modules - News, Lists, etc are also missing the pictures for the icons.

    Any ideas?

    Hello Matt,

    Please send us your project( version 3.7 SP1 - the upgraded one). You can attach it to a support ticket( if it is up to 20 mb with the data base) or provide us with an external link from where we can download the project and set it up locally.

    We look forward to hearing from your at your earliest convenience.

    Best wishes,

    The problem turned out to be in my web.config, I had turned off the EnabledEmbedded Skins (I think I was fooling around with some custom skins at one point)

        <appSettings>
            <add key="Telerik.Skin" value="internalweb"/>
            <add key="Telerik.EnableEmbeddedSkins" value="false"/>
        </appSettings>

    Just switched the EnabledEmbeddedSkins = true and all was fine.

    Thank you Sitefinity for your wonderful support - keep it up!
