    Hi guys,

We have an extranet where people log in and can view certain pages which is done with the user and page permissions. It does what it should do, but we have problems in the time it takes to remove a view state from a role in the pages permissions. It will save instantly, but when you log out and log back in as that specific user, it can take a few hours to resolve. It is instant when you turn on the view state.

Is there anything we can do to make this faster?

    Thanks.

    Adrian

    Hello,

I am not exactly sure what do you mean. Could you please provide us with exact steps for reproducing the problem? Also, do you use any caching for your page?

    Hi Georgi,

For the pages there is no caching on them.

For instance, I go to a page and then permissions. I select the relevant role. "View" is set to "Allow". I deselect "Allow" and save changes. What should happen is the user with that role should not see that page anymore. But it takes about 6 hours for the changes to propagate through.

    Thank you.

    Adrian.

    Hello Developer,

We cannot reproduce this behavior with default Sitefinity 3.2 website. Permissions apply immediately after they have been set. Check out whether there is inheritance from everyone role.

    Best wishes,
