Sitefinity Blogs and Windows Live Writer, publishing error

    Hi,

    I managed to setup WLW with my sitefinity website but when I try to publish I get the following error, note that I can create, publish posts from SF just fine.

    Server Error 0 Occurred

    Database needs to be upgraded


    I'm using community version 3.6.1936.3

    Please help, Thanks.

    Hi Zubair,

    Please download the latest version of LiveWriter.
    Make sure that WebBlog homepage, your username and password are correct. You could try using Community server as a provider.

    Hi Ivan,

    Appreciate your reply.

    I got the latest version of WLW and I set up the account just fine (with Community Server this time instead of metaweblog api), its on the Publish step where I get the error (screenshot attached above).

    help please.

    Hello Zubair,

    Please check the following posts 

    It's possible that your database needs to be upgraded indeed - please run a copy of the database locally, and create a content item in all modules. This way, all providers will update their database fields and you should not get this error anymore.
