    Hi Annie,

Almost all of Sitefinity's content is stored inside of the database. So, when you login to the website you're logging into the database. In your Web.config file, there is a section called connectionStrings. Please go into the connection string and ensure that your website has the proper login information. For more info on the syntax, take a look at this website.

    Hi,

This error message pops up when the hosting company shuts down the Sql server. It could be for maintenance reasons. We suggest you contacting them - in any case they should provide an sql backup if one of the servers is down.

    Kind regards,
    Georgi
