    Hi there,
I have a website designed in Sitefinity 3.7.2136.240.
The website runs fine with no error, but sometimes it just stucks i mean hangs.
    I don't know why.
I will explain sometimes I will be editing the page or viewing the page it just hangs for a while and I have to close the website and open it again and then it runs fine,

Do you know what is happening, please reply ASAP.

    Regards,
    Nimit Verma.

    Hi Nimit,

Check the Http request and response and the status of your IIS server, its Application Pool and SQL server.

    Hi Ivan,
    thank for your response.
In IIS the Application Pool has only one website and whenever it freezes, I have to recycle the Pool. it seems like it is using alot of resources.
Can you tell whats happening, please reply ASAP.

    Hi Nimit,

Unfortunately with the information you provided I am not able to tell you what the problem is. This is something that you should monitor at your end. Since the issue is sporadic you need to see when the Application Pool peaks are reached. Check the IIS log for some more information. If you move the website on another machine does the problem persists. How many users access the website. Can you gather some information from your host provider about why the application pool is going down sometimes?

    Best wishes,
    Ivan Dimitrov

    Hello Nimit,

It is possible that you have some controls on  a page that cases this issue. Our corporate websites Telerik.com. Blogs.Telerik.com, Sitefinity.com and Blogs.Sitefinity.com are running under Sitefinity and we do not have such problems. I suppose that there is something related to controls you have on your pages.

    Hello,
I am having similar issue. The news items in my site are slow and when I check the dedicated server, worker process(application pool under which sitefinity application is running) is consuming lots of memory. I don't know how to find out whats the problem, I have already gone through my hosting provider and they have trouble shoot and didn't found out any issue in there server. Can you please advise me what things shall I check to find out where in the site it is slowing down?
    Thanks,
    Arif.
