    Hello,

I've developed a new site using the Community 3.7 edition and have uploaded it to our production web server.  Now we purchased the standard edition and want to upgrade.  The main thing we want to do right now is to remove the Sitefinity Logo from the site, but later we will want to enable other options.

I've been reading some of the threads, but they appear to be for older versions.  What do I need to do to upgrade my site to the Standard Edition and remove the powered by logo?

    Hello Randy Bauer,

Thank you for using our services.

Well the process is should not require doing anything additional than just to upgrade the Sitefinity version. You can go to the Downloads section of your Client.Net account (if you do not have a Standard Edition license purchased yet go to Free Trials section) and download a Standard Edition Upgrade patch of the version you wish to upgrade your version of Sitefinity. Then follow the Upgrade Instructions and upgrade the Sitefinity version of your project. Please note that if you are using External Templates on your project you should download the External Templates for the Standard Edition (there are differences in versions) and apply your changes to the ones for the SE.

Please get back to us if you encounter any difficulties.

    All the best,

    Hello,

I made changes to CommentsList.ascx and ListPageDetail.ascx files.  When I download the new templates, I am assuming I need to migrate my changes to these files.

    Is this correct?

    Thanks,

    Hello Randy Bauer,

if you upgrade to the last official release all templates there are embedded, so your modifications will not be overridden.
