I am using both Sitefinity Standard (3.6) and Sitefinity Community (3.7). Is there any way that one can reduce the size of the release?

one of the sites built with the community is rather simple, but still requires 50MG of space, which on a shared environment can be a lot.

Any suggestions? Can any file(s) be ignored? Thanks,

    Hi Ricardo,

If you do not use some of the controls which have templates(Sitefinity/UserControls folder) you can remove them. You can also remove some of the default themes and associated images. All Generic Content based modules use built in templates. Forums and Newsletters templates are in the project. If you do not use these modules you can turn them off and remove the templates. Most probably the project size is coming from the database where all content data and images are stored.

    Sincerely yours,
