I've setup the DNS and IIS7 entries for the sitefinity site (or so I thought), but I'm getting this error when I try and visit http://mysite

If I tack on Default.aspx it seems to get me to the right place...but remove that and I get the below error.  Default.aspx is set in IIS7 as the top default to look for

    Is there something I'm missing?

Also, how do you make the site go Live, the license xml file?

    Server Error in '/' Application.

    The resource cannot be found.

Description: HTTP 404. The resource you are looking for (or one of its dependencies) could have been removed, had its name changed, or is temporarily unavailable.  Please review the following URL and make sure that it is spelled correctly.

    Requested URL: /.aspx

    Hello Steve,

Please accept  my apologies for the late response. We needed more time to investigate this issue.
It seems that the problem is related to our last optimizations in the CmsHttpModule. We found out that it appeared  in the following scenario:
      - II7 with wild card mapping;
      - No home page is set for the site.

So, if you set a home page from the Sitefinity administration, you won't get this error any more.
We are sorry for the inconvenience, the problem will be fixed in the service pack (at the end of March).

    Sincerely yours,
    Vlad

I'm having the exact same problem, and I already have a homepage set for the website. Any ideas?

    Hi Wessam,

We also found that the problem appears when your home page is called default.aspx. Also which version you use? I am not able to reproduce this problem with the last official release 3.6  build 1936 (SP2).

    Kind regards,
    Ivan Dimitrov

Correct, I had the homepage name called default.aspx. Changed its name, and its working fine now.
    I'm using Sitefinity 3.6
