We've been developing several Sitefinity sites using SQL Server 2005 as the database, but we now find ourselves in the postion of having to move to a different hosting company due to the reluctance of our current host to add extension mappings to IIS which stops Sitefinity working correctly.
The hosting company we're now looking at offers Virtual Servers which allows for us to have full access to IIS but the costs of adding SQL server to the hosting package more than triples the cost. So, we have decided to install a copy of SQL Server Express of our new Virtual server. However, our existing Sitefinity sites were developed using SQL Server 2005, so how do I convert these sites so they can use SQL Server 2005 express and how do I copy the SQL Server data across to Express?
