    Partially solved., you'll need to read the rest of the post to understand the new form of the question.

    [question evolved]
    Now, its a question of mapping/rewriting addresses so that in either language (En/Ar), pages would still follow the naming convention of subdomain.domain.org/pagename.aspx whether its En or Ar.

    Suggestions?

    I've got something weird (to me) going on.

    I have a site that's got a hierarchy as so:

    /
    --- Subdomain1 (group)
                   |------ En (group)
                               |------ Page 1, page 2, etc
                   |------ Ar (group)
                               |------ Page 1, page 2, etc
    --- Subdomain2 (group)
                   |------ En (group)
                               |------ Page 1, page 2, etc
                   |------ Ar (group)
                               |------ Page 1, page 2, etc
    --- En (group)
                   |------ Page 1, Page 2, etc
    --- Ar (group)
                   |------ Page 1, Page 2, etc

    Now, I have the subdomains mapped properly as so in my web.config

    <urlMappings>
               <add key="domain.org"  value="En/" shared="true"/>
               <add key="subdomain1.domain.org"  value="subdomain1/En/" shared="true"/>
               <add key="subdomain2.domain.org"  value="Subdomain2En/" shared="true"/>
    </urlMappings>

    I've turned off the default site ( so I can listen on port 80) and when I navigate to any of the subdomains/pages, I get a 403 (Forbidden) at first.  Then I found out that it was not "routing" it properly to the default page.

    This is on community edition, what can I do to fix this?

    TIA.

    Hi Steve Mustafa,

    1. Make sure that the page names and related value settings are the same - note that the value is case sensitive. I noticed that you have missed the slash after the first group page in the third mapping value="Subdomain2En/"

    2. The key value is also case sensitive and the host should be in lower case.

    I performed a local test and everything was working fine

    my web.config settings

    * do not add slash after the name of the inner group page. restart IIS server after you have set up everything.

    <urlMappings>
      <add key="sub1.localhost" value="Sub1/SubGroup" shared="true" />
      <add key="sub2.localhost" value="Sub2/SubGroup" shared="true" />
    </urlMappings>

    sample video has been attached.

    If the problem persists, please write back to me. You could attach several screenshots of your web.config setting, pages structure and describe the steps that you have followed before you face the issue.
