    Hi Michael ,

    Thanks for contacting us.

It's possible that there is some white space in the code. Have you typed in admin for the user name and admin for the password? When you set-up the TIU site, can you confirm that the database exists in the App_Data folder? If you are using SQL Express, then it should be there. Please confirm that the ASP.NET worker process has read/write permissions on the App_Data folder, since it's possible Sitefinity can't access the database to login. If you are using Windows Server 2003 or 2008, ensure that the Network service account has the read/write permissions on that folder.

If the problem persists, please let us know.

    Sincerely yours,
    Joe

    Joe,

The database exists in the App_Data folder, whichever file it is: Sitefinity.mdf and Sitefinity_log.ldf - those are the two files I see in the App_Data folder.

Do I have to do anything with SQL Server express? Create a database manually in it? How do we connect the sites and the database?

When I go to the site folder on the server (Server 2008, IIS 7) to check the permissions, I see the following error messag (when accessing the "securiy" tab:
"The permissions on TIUsite_v3.5_SP1 are incorrectly ordered, which may cause some entries to be ineffective."

    What do we do?

    Hello Michael ,

There are some restrictions in Windows 2008 Server which may cause this.
What you could try is to run IE7 as an administrator - right click on its icon and choose "Run as Administrator" option. Then browse to this url - http://localhost/telerik/TIUSite_v3.5_SP1/Sitefinity/Login.aspx (if you are using it locally of course). Then admin/admin should work as valid credentials.

    Best wishes,
    Nikolay
