Yesterday we deployed our new sitefinity site.  We have a valid license file and I am still getting the Trial Message!  I have tried both ways to install the file (App_Data & Sitefinity Directory) and neither help.  I emailed support before we launched and they said everything was setup correctly.

But now our site is live and we look like jokers - Please help!

    Hello Alisha,

It seems the license key you have generated does not comply with the rules defined here: http://www.sitefinity.com/domainNameRules.html. The link is available on the license key generation page. Basically, you need to enter the domain name without the "http://www." prefix.

Here are the License key creation rules, for your conveninece:

    1. Use only top-level domain names. The control will work on all other subdomains. Do not enter prefixes like www or http://.

    Original domain Right Wrong
    http://www.mysite.com mysite.com www.mysite.com
    http://www.mysite.com mysite.com http://www.mysite.com
    http://mysite.com mysite.com http://mysite.com
    http://support.mysite.com mysite.com support.mysite.com

    2. In case of a complex country-specific domain name (like www.mysite.co.uk, www.mysite.org.bg) you need to enter the actual domain name (mysite) followed by the full extension (co.uk).

    Original domain

    Right
    http://www.mysite.co.uk mysite.co.uk
    http://www.mysite.gov.tw mysite.gov.tw

    3. A server name or an IP address is allowed for the live server (not the development server), but it is best to use its domain name if it has such.

    Original domain

    Right Wrong
    http://www.mysite.com mysite.com 123.123.123.123

I have created a license key for you, that does not have "http://www." part and will be recognized by Sitefinity. The license key file has been sent to you via email a couple of minutes ago. Please replace the existing file with the new one and restart your application.

    Kind regards,
    Petia
