We deployed the site into a different folder name from that it was developed in.

The site is mostly OK - had to change some of the URL references for library content (images) in some generic content items....

However, I can't edit the templates. I get a "The Page Cannot be Found" Message when I select on in the Templates list. I don't know if this is an IIS setup issue or because we changed the name of the application folder.

What is the easiest way to get edit control over the templates back in the Admin UI? Hope that makes sense!

    Thanks! Andy.

    Hello Andy,

You see this because the IIS on the server is not configured to work with .template files. Please refer to the Troubleshooting article Error 404 when Trying to Edit Templates for more information.

Yes, I have tried this, but still get a 404.

I will double check again, but is there anything else it could possibly be?

    Sorry to be a pain!

Ignore me. It took a few iisreset's to get it to kick in.
    Thanks!

Gah! I should check three times before I post anything. Sorry, I was just looking at the dev site just now. It's been a long day! The deployed site is still not allowing master page edit (404).

Any ideas Georgi? I will keep looking.

OK. It was my own fault, as I'm sure you know! Staring me in the face. I was playing with the settings for .master, not .template. Even though you had written it in bold for me! Doh!
Thanks again for your help. I think it might be time to go home!
    All the best,
    Andy
