    Hi,
I have just downloaded Sitefinity 3.7 Sp3 and installed on my system, and everything was doing well until i came to Pages menu and create a new page and go to page designer where i can add controls from tollbox. But when i try to add a control, for exemple a Image, to a ContentPlaceHolder in MasterPage, it says that it is Object Null Reference... and the "Edit" linkButton does nothing, but the delete linkbutton is working. Maybe it is something that is missing in my system but i dont know what it is and i have spend a lot of time trying to corect that. I have send a print screen of the error in the back.
    Also, other information:
    IIS version - 7
    Windows 7 Ultimate
    SqlServer 2008 Express
How can I correct this error? Any help  is much appreciated. Thanks

    Hello penafiel,

Most probably you are running project built against ASP.NET 3.5 or 2.0 under ASP.NET 4.0. Please check the  Framework version of .NET under which the application pool runs.

Thanks for your rapid answer. I am using Visual Studio 2010 and my target Framework is .Net Framework 4. My application poll that application runs in IIS7 is configured to use "DefaultAppPool" for all. Do i have to change it to AspNet v4.0?

    Thanks

    Hello penafiel,

We introduced .NET 4.0. in Sitefinity 3.7 SP4. You can use SP4 with ASP.NET 4.0 or change the target framework to .NET 2.0 or 3.5 ( .NET 3.5 is not shown in IIS).
