    Hello James@Nw,

The stack trace shows that this happens when you try to edit the item - ContentItemEdit view is called. Most probably you have some not well formatted link in the content of this item. For example - url which does not start with "~". As far as I remember we resolved this issue in an internal build. If you are talking about several items you can query CmsContentBase and CmsTextContent and remove the content from the problematic items then delete them from UI.

    Thanks Ivan,

I am just wondering if this also has something to do with the downgrade from SQL2008 to SQL2000 when we restore the database on the client's side?

    Thanks,
    James

    Hello James@Nw,

Generally downgrade is not supported with SQL Server. Most probably the scripts and queries you used has affected something. Also the difference between both the editions is 8 years so there might be some limitations and schema differences.

    Hi Ivan,

Thanks for getting back to me so quickly on this. We do think there are major problems downgrading from SQL2008 to 2000. Even when you upload images to the CMS, the images are corrupted.

    Cheers,
    James

    Hi James@Nw,

Switch back to SQL 2008. The best practice is using the same staging and production environment, so you would know how exactly the project will behave after you move it from one place to another.

    Kind regards,
