When I try and upgrade 2.6 to 2.7 I get the following error:
Access to the path 'C:\Work\ssnetv2\Intranet\RadControls\Menu\Skins\Default\img\Thumbs.db' is denied.

however, that file does not exist!

The upgrade seems to have half completed but now obviously I get errors within the site with regards to the radcontrols folder and public logins are no longer working....

I will revert to backups and try again...

    Anyone come accross this problem?

    John

ok, seems that the file is in the backup I reverted too, which i then deleted but as soon as I try to use the conversion wizard the thumbs.db file is recreated.

I have disabled thumbnail caching for the folder, but each time I try the upgrade wizard the file is created and the error occurs.....

Is this occuring because I have moved the project out of the sitefinity/projects folder?

I can't see how that should make a difference...but hey.....

moving back to the projects folder made a small difference, same error different file.
Access to the path 'C:\Program Files\telerik\Sitefinity2.6\Projects\Intranet\RadControls\TabStrip\Skins\ClassicGrey\Img\Thumbs.db' is denied.

asp.net has full permissions on all files and folders.....so....... am going to go and do something else now!

Will come back to this later....

    Hi John,

This behaviour is really strange. The Sitefinity converter should not depend on the project location, neither should the project depend on the Thumbs.db files.

Please, check if you have permissions for the user with which you are using Sitefinity. You can see the user's name on the project converter in the bottom left corner.
You can remove any Thumbs.db files from the project which you will convert. Maybe this was causing the problem. Have in mind that all the RadControls folder is replaced with the new version from Sitefinity2.7/RadControls folder when converting.

If still there is no positive progress it would be useful if you could send us your project along with the database. We will try to convert the project for you and to see what caused your problem.

Thanks in advance and we are looking forward to your reply.
