If someone browsing the forums can assist me with this one it would be much appreciated:

I have a Sitefinity CMS project and I would like to use the user controls from a commerce web app that I have previously used elsewhere in the new Site. The commerce app can run alone but I want to use it's functionality in the new site and in Sitefinity.

Is there any way I can do this? I have tried to copy the dlls, user controls etc. to the CMS project however the commerce app needs to have it's own web.config and I get conflicts if I combine the two files.

What can I do, any ideas. (the commerce app was originally built upon the MS commerce starter kit.

    Hi Seth,

Every Sitefinity web-site has an automatically generated Visual Studio .Net project file, that allows you to do side-by-side development, write new user controls, add previously created user controls, or modify the functionality of existing ones.

Actually Sitefinity and the other sites can work together within a single web application, if they don't have folders and files with same names or other conflicts, of course. Can you please let us know what kind of conflict appears in the web.config files of the applications?
