    for some reason i cant seem to eidt my templates anymore i get this error. it may be due to a dll error maybe?

    The page cannot be found

    The page you are looking for might have been removed, had its name changed, or is temporarily unavailable.

    Please try the following:

    • If you typed the page address in the Address bar, make sure that it is spelled correctly.
    • Open the localhost home page, and then look for links to the information you want.
    • Click the Back button to try another link.

    HTTP 404 - File not found

    Hi Dan,

    You cannot edit templates because you don't have ISAPI mappings for .template extension on the server.

    You can have a look at the attached screenshots demonstrating the requirements for your project configuration.

    For more details about adding application mappings, see User Manual, chapter Configuring IIS or section Troubleshooting.

    Hi,

    Is there any other cause why one can't edit the templates, with 404 error being displayed? I've asked my webhost to add ISAPI mapping, and I've also added template mappings on web.config, but the 404 error is still there.

    Hi Dan,

    No, there is no other reason for this error. Please have a look at the instructions again and make sure that the "Verify that file exists" checkbox is cleared. People often omit this one.

    Hi Rebecca,

    Thanks for answering, I can edit templates now. I did nothing and suddenly it worked. Maybe my webhost did something to the mappings / IIS. Thanks anyway :)
