    Hi,
    I want to customize the look & feel of Lists and News added to my pages in sitefinity. I see that News and Lists have their Control Templates that are referencing different CSS classes to control the style of content (in Lists & News etc.). I want to customize those CSS classes to gain the required look & feel. How should i do that?

    I found a Levels.css file that had some CSS classes but not all that are used in Control Templates of Lists. Can you show me the right way through which i can control the presentation of Lists and News etc.?

    Hello Salman,

    The styles of the Lists and News depend on your page-theme that you use. For example, if you use "Blue with right sidebar", the CSS classes that you should edit are located in \App_Themes\Blue with right sidebar - blue_right.css.

    You can either override existing class or create a new one in this file.

    You can also create your own css classes and change the HTML in the templates. Let's take NewsList for example:

    <h1 id="categoryModeTitle" runat="server" class="categorizedAs">
        <asp:Literal ID="Label1" runat="server" Text='<%$Resources:Category %>'></asp:Literal> :
        <asp:Literal ID="categoryName" runat="server"></asp:Literal>
    </h1>

    You can use div class instead of <h1> or replace class="categorizedAs" with your own class, e.g.  class="CustomCategorizedAs".

    Let us know if you need any further assistance.

    Greetings,
