    I was trying to insert the full toolbar-set in the generic content, blogs and news editor.  I did so doing the following:
    Made a new ascx file with a copy of the EditorTemplate.ascx, changed the configfile. Made a new configfile and also made a new toolsfile and set that toolsfile in the configfile.
    Everything works for the generic content but not for news, should this be handles differently?

    Also is it possible to use a css file in the editor, how should I handle that?

    Hello Kwinten,

    You said that you have a new configuration file for the RadEditor. I think you need to change the value of RadEditor ConfigFile property in the corresponding News template. For the administration of the News module the necessary templates are:
    •   ~/Sitefinity/Admin/ControlTemplates/News/ControlPanelInsert.ascx
    •   ~/Sitefinity/Admin/ControlTemplates/News/ControlPanelEdit.ascx.

    As for your second question: if I understand correctly you want to load-in the editor classes from a specific css file. You could achieve this by configuring "Apply Css Class" dropdown to load external CSS files. First of all you should enable this dropdown through the ToolsFile:

    <tools name="DropdownToolbar" dockable="true"
        <tool name="ApplyClass" enabled="true"/>
    </tools>

    After that you should specify in the editor configuration file, the CSS file which you need the editor to use:

    <property name="CssFiles"
        <item>~/Sitefinity/Admin/Themes/Default/EditorStyles.css</item>
    </property>

    Also, you can easily modify the default set of classes in CSS file and display only a few, using the ToolsFile, as shown in the example below:

    <classes>
        <class name="Add CssClasses collection here:" value=".attention" />
        <class name="EditorToolsFile.xml" value=".read" />
    </classes>

    For more information you could investigate RadEditor online help.
