    Hello Knut,

Try switching to Classic mode and see whether the delete button will be accessible. You can check whether the control is in your template instead of the page. If so remove it from your masterpage.

    Hi

The controll is not on the template page but on the mainpage (home). I already are in classic mode.
The page is locked by admin... could this be the case? How can i unlock it?
I  only have one user ( admin)

    Hi Knut,

After you edit the page and publish it, it should became unlocked. Check whether you have enable js in your browser, try accessing the website from different browsers and see whether you can remove the control. Check out whether there are any js errors thrown.

    Hi Knut,

Thank you for getting back to me.

You can try using IE8 compatibility mode. There should not be a problem. Let us know if there is anything else that we can do for you.
